The Life Ring Foundation today presented a $1.25 million gift to Carilion Children’s, Southwest Virginia’s local Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) hospital, in support of pediatric cancer care and blood disorders – which doubled the Foundation’s pledge from $2 million to $4 million.

The Jim & Debbie Petrine Foundation Gift over $850,000 to the Life Ring Foundation. This monumental donation is in furtherance of the Petrine’s long-standing philanthropic interest in supporting health care initiatives in Southwest Virginia. It will be utilized for the Life Ring Foundation’s Fighting Kids Cancer campaign, which supports pediatric cancer and blood disorder treatment and resources to be more accessible in Roanoke, serving the entire region.
