Jo & Co. Jewelers Invites the Community to Dig for a Cause in Support of Fighting Kids CanceR
Hardy, VA — Sometimes making a difference starts with something as simple as a bucket of sand.
On August 15, 2026 Jo & Co. Jewelers will once again host its beloved Annual Diamond Dig — Dig for a Cause, inviting families, friends, and supporters from across the region to uncover gemstones, diamonds, and something even more valuable: hope for children facing cancer locally.
This year's Diamond Dig will benefit the Life Ring Foundation's Fighting Kids Cancer℠ campaign, helping provide critical resources for children battling pediatric cancer and blood disorders throughout Southwest Virginia.

For a $35 donation, each participant receives one bucket and one scoop from a giant gemstone-filled sandbox containing more than 1,100 carats of gemstones and several diamonds—including a grand prize diamond waiting to be discovered. Every participant leaves with genuine gemstones, unforgettable memories, and the knowledge that their donation is helping local families during one of the most difficult times of their lives.
While only one person will uncover the grand prize, everyone who participates is a winner.
A Partnership That Continues to Shine
