An Evening FIGHTING KIDS CANCER WITH LADY A
Hosted by the Life Ring Foundation, this new event is a private, sponsorship only admission for an exclusive and unforgettable evening. This one-night experience benefiting the Fighting Kids Cancer campaign is dedicated to raising awareness and critical funding for expanding lifesaving resources in Southwest Virginia for families facing pediatric cancer and blood disorders. Kids right here in our region deserve all the best possible resources for top tier care, close to home.
This sponsorship only event is designed to cultivate meaningful relationships, celebrate the impact made so far, and inspire continued investment in the future of pediatric care across SWVA and beyond. Adding to the experience, Grammy Award-winning country trio Lady A will make a special guest appearance during the evening, creating a memorable moment for a cause greater than ourselves.
THE LOCATION
Hosted at The Exchange in downtown Roanoke, An Evening Fighting Kids Cancer with Lady A will take place in one of Virginia’s newest and most distinctive live music venues. Housed within the beautifully restored historic First National Exchange Bank, the venue blends timeless architecture with state-of-the-art production, creating an unforgettable setting for a private evening of music, philanthropy, and hope.

With your support The Life Ring Foundation funding will enable Carilion Clinic to accelerate and expand pediatric cancer and blood disorder clinical care, patient and family support programs, and fund new positions while the new Carilion Taubman Cancer Center construction is underway.

The Life Ring Foundation® is a nonprofit in Roanoke, VA dedicated to uplifting children & families by throwing a life ring in times of need.
Through personal experience by Co-Founders, Kelly & Jessica Woolwine (pictured right), the primary mission of the Life Ring Foundation® today is the Fighting Kids Cancer℠ campaign.
Our Mission: to fund new resources for the pediatric oncology & hematology program alongside our partner, Carilion Clinic. Together, we aim to ensure more children & families can access top-tier care AND stay close to home.
